We love a crushable red wine with a nice chill as much as the next human and this one truly delivers on its promise. One sip will transport you back to the cafeteria line, where you stood sippin’ on a cold purple juicy-juice box while you waited for your tray of sloppy joes. Or as Andy puts it, "It’s the adult in the room that’s a kid at heart ❤️.” This is our first ever gamay pinot blend and we think it’s gonna go absolutely wild around your Thanksgiving table next to all that butter and cream. Drink it chilled and drink it fast--it will make the night a lot less stressful we promise.
We think the Lip Smacking Frooty Tooty Red is just about as perfect of a holiday table pairing as they come. This wine makes your lips pucker and smack with delight, which means it thrives alongside things like roasted turkey and ham, or a side of buttery mashed potatoes. It’s structured enough to hold its own alongside some of the holiday heavy hitters and a perfect way to wash down a raucous night with the fam.
Winemaker Notes:
While the name might be playful, this wine is 100% the adult in the room (albeit the cool parent). Based on passe-tout-grains, the Burgundian method of fermenting Gamay and Pinot Noir together, this wine is styled slightly differently, with each varietal being fermented separately and then blended together before bottling. The Pinot Noir brings brightness and red fruit (think strawberries and raspberries), while the Gamay Noir provides blackberries, plums and a pleasing note of granite. Lovers of everything from Burgundy to Cabernet will find something to love here. A guaranteed winner around the holiday table, no doubt.
Interested in making your own? Watch this ep of Hit The Kitch With Molly Baz, in which I am joined by m ygood friend Tobias who has never broken down or roasted a turkey on his own... so I show him a method of cooking that ensures both juicy breast meat, and tender leg meat, and nothing less!! The solution?
These potatoes feature a secret ingredient, whipped cream, to give them their ethereal, light, fluffy texture. I’ve given instructions for two different ways to finish these potatoes depending on your timing. You can either serve them straight out of the pot, or transfer them to a baking dish way ahead of time and bake until browned instead.

I almost gave this 1 star to make people think that the wine is not good so I can have it all for myself. But let’s be serious, every friggin wine in the line up is damn delicious. I WANT IT ALL
I normally don’t drink wine because I usually don’t like the weird aftertaste but I bought 3 bottles of the Salt Lover’s White Wine and it was amazing! I paired it with a couple dishes I made from Molly Baz’s cookbooks. Hoping to buy more for the holidays to gift!
This wine is SO smooth and fun! We took a bottle out to eat at a fancyAF Italian spot (Ava Gene's in Portland) and even the server took a step back after she tasted it! It's chillable and fruit forward DELISH. Highly recommend.
