Our 2024 Sippable Salt Lover’s White is floral and light, a delicately balanced blend of Riesling and Chardonnay that tastes like honeysuckle and bee pollen, with a hint of Duncan Hines boxed vanilla cake mix (our fave) on the finish. Catch me pouring this alongside a hollowed out ceviche-filled coconut and a plate of fried fish tacos and tell me that’s not the ultimate summer slammer…

Cépage (aka what's in it!):

  • 50% Riesling: for a zippy backbone of acid and white floral aromatics such as honeysuckle
  • 50% Chardonnay: for texture and deeper flavors such as river stones and Duncan Hines yellow cake batter. 

Winemaking practice: Fruit went direct to press with no crushing prior to pressing. Pumped directly into older French oak barrels that impart no flavor, but rather serve as a holding vessel for aging on solids with a light oxygen transfer through the wood. Wine was sulfured post malolactic fermentation and racked six months later to stainless, where it was bottled after one month.

Sustainably farmed grapes

At Drink This Wine, we only procure grapes from farmers who are as committed to the land as we are. The grapes we use are farmed by hands and never with chemicals. If it doesn't come from Mother Earth, it is not in our wine.
Ambient yeast

Our wines are fermented with naturally occurring yeasts, present on the grape skins and in the winery's environment, which allow us to initiate the fermentation process without adding cultured or commercial yeast strains.
Love & Time

Making wine the way we make it takes a lot of love and a lot of time. Unlike more commercial wineries, we don't use additives to correct mistakes or change the nature of our wine. Simply put, before we can pour wine in your glass, thousands of things have already gone right. Making you happy is one thousand and one.
